The 23rd Annual Trivia Bee took place on Saturday, March 23 at 7pm at the Knights of Columbus. The new venue gave the event a great pub-like feel. We appreciate the support of our hosts!

As always, the Trivia Bee brought together multiple teams of 2 - 4 players for an evening of fast-paced, competitive pub style trivia for a great community filled evening.

The Trivia Bee is The Bridge’s largest fundraiser, and provides the vast majority of the community’s portion of the operating budget for The Bridge. It allows The Bridge to continue to screen and place volunteers in our schools, to provide centralized volunteer management that benefits both volunteers and educators alike, and offers us the ability to find new opportunities to serve our schools and community.

Volunteers give thousands of hours to our schools each year. Literally. In the 2022-23 school year, volunteers logged an estimated (based on sign ins from the schools, plus other known volunteer activities) over 15,000 hours… and this is likely a *low* estimate. Things as different as basics like elementary libraries and extracurricular activities like MHS robotics are nearly entirely volunteer run. Our schools truly would not be the same without volunteers, and volunteering would not be as safe or easy without The Bridge.
